The Inside of the DR rear swing arm is hollowed out and apparently can flex under stressful riding conditions. The swing arm bracing is basically pre-formed pieces of aluminum that "box in" the hollow area on the inside of the swing arm. They are welded into place and this welding needs to be done properly so as not to distort the swing arm.
Ge-Force racing has material in stock to fab up and weld up the rear swingarm for the "box in" effect!
